Topic: RE: exercise ideas
For me, I have serious problems with both feet and my left achillis tendon, so I began swimming laps over a year ago. Being Western Washington, there are a LOT of indoor pools - my pool of choice: King County Acquatic Center in Federal Way. They have programs in the Rec Pool (walking, aerobics, etc.) and lap swimming in the Competition Pool. I swim three times a week (I am pre surgery) and very pleased with my progress.
Costs - you can pay by the day (if disabled, they do offer a lower rate), three month, or yearly pass. I haven't taken the aerobics classes, but I do see a lot of "regulars" there. If you are too shy, I am over 400 pounds (so is my boyfreind) and we have only been met with POSITIVE energy.
OH! And the Rec Pool has a REALLY cool pirate ship - and classes for kids & parents (personally, I dread those times, I am not one for 20 kids under 6 running around me in the shower). Check them out - it is off the 348th exit in Federal Way.

I am ready to clean out my closet. I know there are many 'sister's out there who are in between and hate to purchase too much.
I finally go the courage to face my weight loss. Might sound odd but I really thought I might 'need' these things - just in case.
I have a lot of elastic waist pants size L to size 18 and Chico size 2.5. I have large shirts and some nice suits.
some winter things - so those will have to wait I think and some spring things.
I am 5 2 so consider them short if you are taller than me.
How to connect.
I live on Vashon
I work in South Lake Union
If you are near - let's figure it out.
Or maybe we can organize a clothing exchange.
I am wearing a size 6 or 8 and I don't plan to return. Who new I was petit!

I will be in Richland the first weekend in June....I would love to meet some of you down there that I see on the boards!
I delivered 6 weeks early a 5lb 15oz lil boy:) After spending 2 months on bed rest in the hospital and Mason spending 11 days in the NICU, we're both home and doing great! Mason is getting bigger and gaining weight like he should. Now it's my turn to lose this weight! It's tough to get back on the band wagon...I CAN do this!
