Yes, it was for you :) I don't love exercise either, I'm trying though. The last month or so Ive been good :)
Shirley is great. I would love to see her too, for other stuff I deal with. I am wanting to make a meeting soon. If I can I will let you know so we can at least know who each other is :)
Now, go get a glass of water LOL :)

I understand there may be a monthly meeting of DSer's. Does anybody know where and when the next meeting is?
Thanks!

LOL - wish we lived closer too. However, I am proud to say I walked THREE MILES today and I'm proud!!! Also, I figured out that with sugar free pudding, my vanilla protein is a perfect fit! Carbs are low and I use soy milk (unflavored) so it keeps even the calories low. I use yogurt as well, and right now, I'm experimenting more than anything else. I want quite the variety and pudding can be made into a liquid!!!
Wind is picking up now, rain will start soon, and feeling confident with my day, I'm going to grab my dog and take a snooze (he likes naps too!)
All - have a great day! :)

Was that directed at me? If so thanks! I'm just following the program... mostly. I bought a food journal a couple weeks ago and I've been using that every day. I need to up my water though. I got dehydrated Monday and my blood pressure was really low which made me dizzy and light headed. I got over that and feel better now. I also have been slacking on the exercise. I am going to work on that (always hated exercise!) I see Shirley at her private practice too and I think that helps. I attend 3 support group meetings a month. I wish you were closer so we could meet! ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/biggrin2.gif)

Thanks for the insight!!! I met with Dr. Sebesta today for my first surgical consult. He said he had performed about 400 gastric bypasses. He recommended the roux-eny. I really like him and he seems very experienced. I could not schedule my surgical date because I want to do it at the beginning of August and they only schedule 30 days in advance. So I am going to call him and let him at the beginning of July and remind him to put me on the surgical schedule for August. He did not order any extra tests, just the usual blood tests and said I will meet with him and the anesthesiologist one more time before surgery. I have been so nervous up to this point, but after speaking with him today I have made peace with my decision and feel ready to do this. My BMI is high and even though I knew, it made it much more real to hear from the surgeon the risks of living morbidly obese were much greater than any of the risks of this surgery.
Topic: Back from hernia repair with tummy tuck at Madigan!
I have been missing for a while. Life has been really crazy for me!!
I just had a hernia (one huge one and 4 small) repair and tummy tuck last Wednesday! Dr. Martin did a fabulous job. I am just in shock at how well it turned out. (So anyone contemplating a tummy tuck, you will not be disapointed!)
The pain is pretty bad,but actually better than I had anticipated, but I am sure it will all be well worth it very soon!!
Well, just wanted to update and check in!

Sorry this is so late, I hope you get it!!!
I agree with Rebecca, I have not heard anything bad about of the surgeons at Madigan! They are all wonderful! I had Dr. Martin, but he just deployed to Afganastan on May 13th, but the rest are great as well!

I met with Dr. Sebasta (Sp??) today for my post op appointment and he was really great! So if he is to be your surgeon, I think you will be in excellent hands!!
Congrats on getting through your pathways, you are well on your way now!!!!
