Got my psych eval scheduled!!!

Well, I am not new to this board, but have left and returned. A year ago I thought about having the surgery....read up, got scared to death, and backed out. Thought I could lose this on my own, did great with Weigh****chers and Curves, lost about 20 pounds, only to gain it ALL back, so I am back. I have decided to have the VBG since it is really close to the same success rate as RNY, and to me, way less scary! So, I am surprised at how well things are going for me. I have already attened the seminar, have my psych eval appts. set up (3 appts. total), and have a referral request in for my nutrition appt. and have an appt. with my surgeon on Feb. 23rd. So far so good. I just hope things keep rolling right along! I am more than ready this time around. Well, just thought I'd share my wonderful news! Lisa

That IS wonderful news Lisa! You are on your way! I had surgery back in August and have lost 76lbs so far. I am very happy with my surgery. It's ok to be scared. I know I was.
