Looking for a support group in Tri-Cities area

Hi All, I'm looking for a local support group in or around the Tri-Cities area. I know that would help with continued success in losing the weight I need to. Its great to get to know others that have had weight loss surgery. Thanks for any info Audrey 11/26/05 269/254 Lap Band

Hi Audrey, I live in Kennewick. There is a WLS support group that meets in Richland on the first Thursday of the month. It meets at 7pm at the 7th Day Adventist church at 1807 McMurrey. I don't go all the time, but have found it helpful. Karen

Hi Audrey, I am having lapband surgery in Mexico in 6 days...YIPPEE!!! I live in Walla Walla and would be interested in a support group too. I know of 1 other lapband patient here in Walla Walla, maybe she would also be interested. Is the support group that already for all types of surgery patients? Hi Shelley, I found a support group in the Tri-Cities we meet last night. I found it on the yahoo groups. I will let you know when the next one will be. There is a person from Walla Walla who attended last night her name is Kathy maybe you could car pool. It was great I got many questions answered. I look forward to talking to again. Hey i used to belong to this group before i had my surgery...but got sidetracked and finally made it back...i live in walla walla and would love to meet you guys!! I know there is a support group that meets in town..not sure of the dates or times but can find out for you if you still wanna know...it is kewl to know there are so many other peeps in town who have had surgery...Hope to hear from someone soon....
