I recently had a Lower Body Lift with Dr Gavin Dry. I am so incredibly happy with the outcome. I have gone around the country to search for a good Plastic Surgeon. I was in Kansas about 2 years ago, when I was starting my weight loss, and I went to talk to Dr Ted Lockwood (the inventor of the lower body lift) and Dr Gavin Dry was one of his partners that specialize in Plastic Surgery after weight loss. Dr Dry then came out here and I am soooooooo happy. He is awesome. I know of many others who have had surgery from him and all are happy. He primarily does weight loss people and I have seen him on NBC and ABC. If anyone is thinking of haing Plastic Surgery I highly recommend going to see him------you will not be disappointed. An artist and a gentleman.

Where is Dr. Dry located? And what is a "lower body lift" as compared to a tummy tuck? I'm still a ways from plastics but I'm sure at least some will be needed before I finish this process. Thanks, Karen

I didn't know much of a difference when I was looking into all this at the beginning but there is a huge difference between panniculectomy, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), belt lift and lower body lift. Tummy tuck only deals with the front but a belt goes all the way around the body and takes off the skin and fat in a belt distribution. A lower body lift does all this but lifts the thighs, butt and back. I am so happy with my procedure and incredibly impressed with Dr Dry and his artistry. He is in Kirkland and does most of these surgeries at Evergreen Hospital. He specializes in Plastic Surgery after weight loss. I highly recommend going to see Dr Dry even if you are not at the Plastic Surgery stage yet. I think he is the main speaker at the National Bandster Bash (a big meeting for weight loss surgery patients) here in Seattle in a few weeks Gretchen

I went to the support group meeting at Evergreen in December and he was the speaker. I was SOOOOOOO impressed. I can't afford the LBL yet - and I do need it - but I'm seriously thinking of doing my face and neck. He would definately be my FIRST choice. I can really hide my extra skin on the old bod really well. In fact people have asked me three times in the last week what happened to all my skin, you had plastic surgery, right?! I was thrilled, of course! But the lines by my mouth are deep from such a fat face and the neck skin is icky and really does make me look old. I looked younger about 25 pounds ago, but...........I'M NOT REGAINING 25 POUNDS JUST TO LOOK YOUNGER!!!!! Thanks for the recommendation! Linda -206
