X husbands are like herpes...

you think you are in the clear and he raises his ugly nasty head again. No I do not have herpes but that is what my X reminds me of. I am not trying to get flamed but I need to vent. He calls last night drunker than ever and yells at me that he has not spoken to his daughter... WELL then call her you azz!! He has not cared since his birthday last year and can we guess what day last night was? Yep his birthday... She gets so confused about him so she was crying I get back on the phone and he is crying so I talk to his girlfriend who agrees with me that he needs to get off his butt and make contact at least monthly, he does not. My husband is so pissed that I even talked about letting him see her( yes he has partial custody) that he went to bed. Now on top of all that crapola last night hubby goes into work today to find out that folks are being laid off... what next? Thanks for listening.

J- I am sooo sorry you are having to deal with this. Sounds to me like he needs to see a shrink! I just can't even fathom a father/mother not seeing their kids on a regular basis. I couldn't even imagine not seeing my kids all the time. It would kill me. I think he also owes you and your daughter, not to mention your husband, an apology for acting like a dum azz. Sorry to hear about this. I will keep you and your daughter in my prayers. Sounds like he has an alchohol problem and needs to seek counseling. I hope you husband does not get laid off. My ex has only seen my son 4 times in his life (my son is now 34). I don't feel sorry for ex. He lost an entire life. I have a million memories and he has only 4. Who lost more? My son is a healthy, well adjusted adult without his father.
