Hey everyone! Just wanted to post the announcement for this month's Support Group at Steven's hospital (Thursday, Oct 13th, Steven's Hosp in Edmonds, 2nd floor cafeteria, 7pm.) This'll be a good one - VitaLady will be there. Here's the information posted on [email protected]. Please come! I'd love to see you there! -------------------- Hello all: Just a reminder that Michelle Curran (Vitalady) will be our guest speaker this coming Thursday night (October 13th) at Stevens Hospital weight loss support group meeting. The topic will be labwork and which medical billing codes should be used, so that our insurance companies will pay for them. She will also be sharing her vast knowledge of vitamins, supplements and sources of protein. Michelle opens her home for anyone willing to travel to Puyallup and allows you to sample, at no cost, any of the protein supplements she carries. She is very low pressure when it comes to selling products. She spends many hours on the phone and internet sharing and answering questions about weight loss surgery. Since she is driving up this far North for our meeting, I will have a donation jar out at the sign-in table. The suggested donation is $5 per person. But PLEASE, don't let that discourage you from coming if you cant make the donation. It will all be taken care of, and I promise, no one will be embarrassed . We just want this to be a successful meeting, where everyone gains more knowledge about what type of labwork they need prior to and after surgery, to keep themselves healthy. If you have any questions about Michelle or what she does, please go to www.vitalady.com Stevens support group is open to all types of surgery and all surgeons. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm in a conference room off of the cafeteria on the 2nd floor of the hospital. The address is 21601 76th Ave W., Edmonds, WA. We have a clothing exchange and encourage you to bring whatever you no longer wear. This includes shoes, hats, gloves, coats, dresses, belts, even costume jewelry. Our only rule is - whatever is left at the end of the night, has to go back home with you, because we don't have any storage room. We also have a game called "Penny a Pound". When you sign in, you can drop a penny for every pound you've lost into a specially marked jar. Then you put your name in a drawing. At the end of the night, we draw a name, and that person gets all the cash in the jar!! It usually works out to be about $10-15 dollars And of course, we will have our usual door prizes, just for showing up!! Hope to see you there, Kelly Mobeck Co-facilitator

HI, Is it possible to post those "insurance friendly" codes for lab work? I'm having a hard time getting anything covered by Uniform Medical. Karen
