did any one go to the wish center

if so could you tell me who did your opp and what was your experince like

I went through the WISH center and Dr. Strain was my surgeon. My experience has been wonderful. I had great care and really believe they helped save my life. I am down 120 pounds since January I feel wonderful. The monthly support meeting are really good, I have learned alot from them and have met many wonderful people. Coni P

Hi Colleen, I am going through the Wish Center. I have Dr. Alperovich. I haven't had my surgery yet. I was scheduled for the 20th of Sept. but the Dr. decided I needed to have a stress test so I am scheduled for the 28th of Sept. I was a little disappointed that it was changed, but I know he is just looking out for my best interest. They are the nicest at that Wish Center aren't they? I feel I am getting really good information to live a good life when this surgery is completed. I don't think I have any questions that have gone unanswered. If I have a question they are right there with the answer. I have known others that I don't think have had the information and care that the Wish Center is giving us. Hi Colleen, I had my surgury with Dr. Alperovich, and found him to be very good. I was a little suprised at the 2K I had to spend up front for the "free" support groups, but that was the only issue, then I must say I am very happy with the outcome. I am now 4 months post op, and have lost 105lbs. Best of luck to you! Paul
