pierce county support groups

I have to find the support group that used to meet the first tuesday of the month at St. Joseph hospital in tacoma. If anyone knows of the support group will you please let me know when they moved to and were they meet at? Thank you, Michaelle

Hi, I'm new to the message boards, however, I started through NW Center for Weight Management and they gave me a flier for Weight Loss Surgery support Groups. On the flier it shows that the group that met on the first Tuesday of the month is now changing in May '05 to the first and third Monday of the month from 6:45 pm to 9:15 pm in dining room 3, in the back of the Ground floor cafeteria at 1717 south J Street. Hope this helps.

I just pulled out the flier and read that the support group welcomes patients of any surgeon or hospital. You do not need to have a reservation.

I am also from the wish center and driving to renton with gas prices the way they are just don't work for me. This is a very fun group and very informative and supportive. Hope to see you there. Michaelle

Hi, I had lap band surgery 4 months ago. I was to have a fill last month and found the Wish Center closed. I am unable to get any answers. What good is the surgery without the fills. Who knows who to contact and if there is a class action against them yet. I paid cash for the service.
