Insurance companies that cover WLS?

Hi all! I have Premera Heritage Plus, and from what I understand they won't cover WLS (??) Has anyone had any luck with any particular insurance company? Is there one which is known to be better about approving surgery? At this point, I am considering changing my plan (I think we have a couple of other co's as options) so any advice would be really helpful! Thanks!

Hi there....YES was very lucky...my insurance is paying for my surgery 100%. i have United Health Care, there are some plans with United that do not cover the surgery, it depends on what specific policy your employer choices to carry, I am just very lucky that my employer in not add the disclaimer on WLS. I hope you can get financing and You get to have the surgery, My surgery is scheduled for march 17 ( only 37 days : ), but you are in my thoughts and prayers. christine
