Needle Left Inside Me!

I would get them to remove the needle asap not a good thing. I would also contact an attorney just to protect your self. Glad they found it imagine if they didn't. My thoughts however it should never have happened to begin with.

Turns out a good friend's husband is an attorney and has handled numerous claims against Group Health. If I decide to go that route, I know I'll have good representation. Also, he told me that my case would be one in which you don't even have to prove negligence because "it speaks for itself." Very tempting, but I'm going to really think about it. I suppose just having to go through another operation is worth something in of itself. Thanks for your input.

Hi Tanja. I live pretty close to Ft. Lewis and go there often to the commissary and PX. My dad is retirned Air Force. Thanks for your input and FYI I'll be having the needle removed tomorrow. Yay! It is kind of weird knowing a needle is lodged inside you somewhere. I should be home the same day. Will keep you posted.
