Broke the 300# mark & water aerobics

Hello! Today marks the day I got under 300#s. from 370.1 to 299.4 I'll round that up to 71 pounds at my 3 month anniversay. That is news I can be excited and proud about!!!! I feel so fortunate to have had this surgery and to be blessed with no complications as of yet. Also, people on the board have talked abou****er aerobics lately and I've been wanting to go, so I called the Tahoma Pool (Kent/Covington/Maple Valley area) and they have a deep water aerobics class tonight at 8 pm. I dug my old bathing suit out and can get it on my body so am going to water aerobics tonight. If any body wants the details on the Tahoma Pool's water aerobics, their phone number, etc., let me know and I'll get that information to you. If anyone wants to tag along sometime with me to one of the classes, let me know. Also, there is a new fitness club opening up in Covington called Keikos (I'm not advertising - just happened to be trying to hook up with a fitness club). It seems to me it is lower priced as compared to some others, it will open in early March as the building is currently being built and it will be all brand new with flat panel tv's at each treadmill, etc., babysitting, dry sauna., etc... I'm not sure if I'm going to sign up there or somewhere else for now. I think they also have a special on the startup fee for a few days still. Geez, maybe I should be asking for a commission for crying out loud. Anyhow, it almost seems I shouldn't be having such a good day, when I read about what Arlene is going through right now. I'm so sorry that she is going through these troubles and complications. I hope it can turn out good for her, that she will be well and hopefully she won't have to have her surgery reversed. Very sad. This is a reminder that this is major surgery and any one of us could have had difficulties and tribulations. Thank God many of us do not.

The water aerobics were WONDERFUL. The ankle floats take some getting used to though. Got a cold shortly after going, so haven't been back yet. Hope you are doing well!

Hey Kiki, We're in the same neighborhood (literally). I am currently a member at the higher priced gym just up the road from the new Keikos (I'm not going to advertise their name because they are soooo yucky). I wish I knew about Keikos before I joined. It sounds great. I wuold highly recommend you go check out one of their other sites, but the rates seem great. As for a water aerobic partner....anytime. Wednesdays are out for me, but I'm willing.
