Had final appointments today before surgery next week!
Kim, I'm getting ready to do the same thing. I've done nothing but gain since I started this whole WLS journey in May. I'll eat over anything but the stress of trying to insurance approval with denial, denial, denial really did it to me. I think I'm up 30 pounds since May. I have a surgery date of Feb 17 and I need something to put me in control. I had thought about Slim Fast two meals a day and then a dinner. Good idea about Lean Cuisine. I need definite confines to let me know when the meal is finished. I guess if the Lean Cuisine is gone I'm done right? I'll probably have to chain the kitchen shut. I'll be so glad to have the tool of a smaller pouch to help me along. Best wishes to you, Karen
The two slimfast and a lean cuisine diet my doctor put me on worked for me.What i did(i live alone so this may not work forsome one who doesnt)is i got ride of EVERYTHING! food wise left in my house even cleaned out the things cooking wise i wouldnt need any more big pots, crock pots, deep fat fryer etc to make a clean break. Then i went to the store and bought only the lean cuisine and slimfast and the "i cant believe its butter garlic and herb"spray, which is very tasty by the way.The first week was terrible at first i was always always hungry it seemed.I called the nutrionist and she said i could have some raw vegis like radishs and celery, which helped. If i was to have to stay on this diet for a real long, time i dont know if i could. But my doctor had told me shrinking my liver was a very good thing to help him do his best on my surgery. One plusis the lean cusine while not much to them are to me the BEST tasting frozen dinners i have had!Hope this little bit of info may help you.If you have any questions feel free to ask.
