Fresh Start...Whats your update?

I was headed to church yesterday (early am) and had to stop at my parents for a ride, because my little truck started sliding around a corner..and my mom was like your shirt is huge on you. She rummaged through her closet and found a nice white shirt that I had given her about 2 years ago (because it didn't fit me anymore). I tried it on and it looked great. It was like wow to actually wear a size 14/16 again and not the size 24/26/28's I was wearing 3 months ago.

Let me just tell you as a pre-op you all are SOOOOO encouraging! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!! Michelle

Hello everyone this is a great idea and I thought maybe a way I could introduce myself to the board as well - here are my stats Name: Joy Location: Federal Way Surgery: Open RNY Distal Surgery Date: 8/19/03 Height: 5'6 Starting Weight: 340 Today's Weight: 180 Total Loss So Far: hmmm guess that would equal 160 lbs I have had too many wow moments to list - but love crossing my legs any chance I get, able to tie my shoes and breathe at the same time and let me tell you about the wow moments in the bedroom - heehee then again maybe I won't. My hubby had wls done also on 2/19/04 and has lost about 140 lbs (men loose faster blah) anyway so between us that is a total of about 300 pounds!!!!!! wow didn't even realize that until I just now posted it, so you can imagine how things have improved in THAT area Anyway my name is Joy and nice to meet you all too
