ouch!!!
Hi all, I wanted to get some feed back from all my post-op peoples. I went to Whidbey Island on friday to visit some friends. I stayed the nite with one of my best friends. To make a long story short, this am we met some other folks at Dennys because they were going to deliver packages to a family. I ordered 1 egg and hash browns and ate a small amount of the H/B. That seem to be just fine with my pouch, then after the delivery we went over to the Harley shop. I looked around set on a few bikes and tried to eat a small bag of popcorn. Katy and I couldn't finish the popcorn cause it was so salty. Then about an hour or so after that my tummy was starting to feel . On my way back home to Milton I stopped and got a hot chocolate, the girl said it was sugar free. I drank afew sips and ended up throwing it out because now I felt worse. Today I have had a dannon smoothy, one egg H/B and very little popcorn and this was all about 8am to 12pm. It's now 7:25 and it hurts to drink water. This has happen before but I'm wondering why it takes so long for my tummy to settle down? Please help the ouchy pouch. Tee
Hi Terry,
I have to tell you what happened with me. I have not been able to keep pureed food down since about 2-3 weeks after my surgery. I did cheat and have popcorn. About 10. So when I called the nurse about not keeping things down, she blamed the popcorn. She put me on 3 day of mineral oil every 4 hours and nothing but clear liquids. It was awful. I can start eating pureed foods again but I haven't been able to keep anything down yet.
I hope your feeling better soon.
Hey, I work up in Milton/Edgewood area. I work at Tax Centers on Meridian. Are you familiar with it. You need to stop in someday and say hi. I would love to see you.
