I don't have a problem with Krystal. She seems to know her stuff but she is not as warm and fuzzy as some of the other staff. Don't prejudge her. Just have your information ready and answer her questions. She can't stop the surgery!!!!

Jacinda, I just had surgery 9 days ago and have my first post op appointment with Doctor on the 8th. I found Krystal to be ok.She is a little blunt and not very friendly but I had no problem with her. I see by the dates you have already seen her so I hope all went well. You will do so well. Dr Bright is awsome. If you ever just want to talk I would be happy to. My post op time is not what I exspected so maybe we could share. I want to go to a support meeting but I work at Sacred Heart Evenings and I always seem to be working when they are. Let me know when you surgery is. Julie

Dr. Rawlins uses her as well. Her bark in worse that her bite. Just listen to what she says, nod your head and check out the things with Dr. Bright. Carol in there office is wonderful and is about 2 years post op. The support group is amazing so try to come. Many of us have gotten through the dealings with Crystal and survived! You will too! Email me if you need more support or information. Take a family member or friend with you to help you remember the stuff. Just realized this was posted last week... How did the appointment go! Only a week away from surgery for you right! You are almost there! Congratulations! -Gerriann Lap RNY 5/14/04 125+pounds gone forever!
