POP

Hi Kristy! :bostie: I live in Texas now, but am orginally from WA state (Bellingham). I just had to respond to your post because I am probably the only one (and my husband) in Texas that calls it POP!! Most people here call it Coke. It doen't have to be Coke for them to call it that.. it could be Dr Pepper or Sprite or whatever.. but it's a Coke to them. When I say something about POP folks look at me like 'what is she talking about???' Ahhh well, just nice to see the same old lingo. I know my Doc says absolutey NO to Pop, and I am still a new post-op and have not tried it, though I know many on the board do.. a couple of suggestions I've heard are to pour it over ice to help de-fizz, or trying a fountain drink since those seem less fizzy. ~Jackie
