I'm thinking this request is rather un-original and dumb, but here it is. Tomorrow is my pre-op appointment with my surgeon, and I'm trying to get all my questions lined up. However, I'm afraid I'm not thinking of all the questions I want to ask. If you have question suggestions, or you know of a list somewhere of appropriate doctor questions, could you help me out? Also, here's a second crazy question. Does anyone know whether it's possible, when having the laparoscopic rny, to watch it on the screen that the surgeon uses? Of course, you'd have to have anesthetic that allows you to stay awake, but I'm thinking that would be very interesting. Or am I being really wierd? Thanks for your help, Susan

Hey Susan!! I am soooo excited for you! Let us know how your preops go, k?? 2 weeks to go!!!!!!! Yeah!! Leilani has a great list of questions. Scroll just beyond the recipes. The first few questions do not apply, but there are several later on that do! http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/profile.phtml?N=G1025993964#Recipe While I doubt that they will let you stay awake during the surgery you can watch the whole surgery here: http://www.thinnerself.com/files/surgery_link_page.htm Looking foreward to hearing how things go!!! Love, Nan

So - did he? And thanks for the prayers! By the way, how are you feeling -- a bit more energetic, and less fatigued as each day goes by? Are you eating (drinking) enough? Thanks for your concern and sharing, Susan

I wish he had! Unfortunately, I asked him as I was going under so I probably didn't give him enough notice I am feeling better thanks! Not much pain, just real tired. I have been getting enough fluids in, but not quite the protein I should. Its sooo hard, seems like I'm eating/drinking constantly. Especially since I'm not hungry much.. its very hard to eat when you aren't hungry; I never thought I'd hear myself say that! But lo and behold, its true. Well my dear, time for another rest Great to talk to you Susan! XoXo~Kimanne
