Thanks to all my well-wishers!

I just wanted to thank everyone that has put supportive messages on my surgery page. I have less than 48 hours until I go into the hospital. I have a little of the presurgery jitters, but am ready now to take the plunge and have it over with!!! I think I am already to go, except my house is STILL NOT CLEAN!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I quit working this week in hopes that I would get my house all set before I went into the hospital, well guess what???? I have not done one thing other than scrub my bathroom from ceiling to floor. I still have the rest of the downstairs to do...UGGG Oh well, it will keep me busy tomorrow. My girls will take care of the upstairs, as that is "their part of the house". I only go up there to get them out of bed for school in the morning, and I kind of close my eyes so I do not have to see all the mess!!! I'm raising the next "slobs" for the Montel Williams Show...GEEZE!!!!! Anyway, enough of my rambling, thanks again to everyone, and please remember to say a prayer for me around 3 o'clock on Thursday! Hugs to you all! Laura

Hi Laura! I had my surgery with Dr. Oh 2 weeks ago and am doing great! I never did get my house clean before surgery and can honestly say I don't regret it. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers on Thursday! Julia

Laura, Lots of happy thoughts for you tomorrow. I'm so excited for you. With a family the size of yours I'm sure there are a lot of headaches but also a tremendous amount of help. Let them do it. I know my kids go nuts over helping mom. Since the upstairs is their domain I know it's their 'job', but hey if you have to work the 'poor mom' angle GO FOR IT! Take care neighbor! Let me know when you're up and around and we'll get together! PS. I went ahead and requested to go to the 10/22 orientation with Dr. Oh. Here's hoping! GOOD LUCK! Deb
