Kiki, Dan G, Craig Johnston, Argile Fox and Me!!!
Good Luck all of you "soon to be losers"!!! I go in on the 7th of October, but my surgery is not scheduled until 4:15 p.m. I'm thinking that by that time with having nothing to drink since midnight the night before, and nothing to eat for 48 hours, I could be shriveled up into nothing more than an old grape!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh well, maybe they won't need to do surgery??? LOL Anyway, good luck to you all, and I will be thinking of you on your BIRTHDAY!!!
Always,
Laura
Hey gang, Im so excited for all of you Im sure you will all do great!!! I hope you all have lots to do to keep you busy and make the time fly by. Im 2 weeks post-op, and for me the last 2 weeks went by the fastest it seemed, trying to make sure every little thing was in order and cleaned before I went in.
Anyway, I wish you all well, my prayers are with you all for a smooth surgery and quick recovery. Take care ........Amanda
I really don't have too many compaints, Laura. I wouldn't say that a feel like poo, but I am tired a lot. Recovery has been about what I expected. It wasn't a breeze, but it was bearable. I don't have a lot of energy still. I don't have much nausea either. Sleeping comfortably and transitioning from a prone position were probably the hardest things in the first week. Sitting upright is still a bit uncomfortable for me. I think attitude impacts alot. When you read about other's bad experience, don't expect that yours will be the same. So many factors determine each person's experience. You'll do fine!!
