Why to heck do I pay for insurance?????
I just called my insurance company (Premera) and was told flat out no, never, no way, no how. Since I am never sick and I rarely see a doctor I am wondering why the heck I pay for insurance. I know, it's for emergencies. Hey, maybe I could stage an emergency bypass!!! Any ideas. Well, I did cry some but I guess others have found ways to get this done. Maybe I will try to be the next "apprentice" and ask The Donald for surgery instead of a job. How did any of you get past the disappointment? How did you pay for all this? Personal stuff, yes but I would love to hear!
Canela,
Sorry to hear you got turned down. I know the feleing. I had the same results with Blue Cross. I ended up self paying for most of it myself. I did some help from DSHS for the hostpital stay. They do require co-morbidities to help out though. Hang in there and keep trying. It's well worth the time and effort.
