okay.... whats the difference?

Will somebody please tell me what is the difference between medicaid and medicare, I have a medical coupon and its a cnp coupon(chronically needy patient) but I never thought to ask wich it is medicare or medicaid?

I believe that medicare is funding one gets when they reach age 65 or retire and medicaid is help with medical bills etc. I know we all pay into medicare.

Medicare is for those that are approved for Social Security either by disability or they reach retirement age. Medicaid is coverage through a state program for the needy.
