I DID IT... I completed the 25 mile bike ride!!!
It took us about 3 hours and 15 mins of riding time to complete the 25 mile ride.... I am not sore now... but I am sure I will be sore later... hopefully I will be able to walk tomorrow.
The route took me by the house I grew up in ... so that was a nice surprise!
My husband was working so he could not pick me up from the ferry... so I rode home... I confess I had to walk up the last block of this hill I had to ride up.. but I made it home!!!
Total biking for the day.... 28 miles!
This week has been very emotional for me... was I going to be strong enough... have enough endurance.... it did not help that I struggled with knee pain up until this past week... But I pushed past all these thoughts with the attitude that I will do the best I can...
Off to a hot bathtub with my new friend Epson Salts!!!

Every morning in Africa , a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.
Every morning inAfrica , a lion wakes up.
It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
