bought my first summer dress...

I remember as a fat teen looking whistfully over at the junior dept. They had cool rock and roll music playing and the clothes were so hip. I was picking out some loose poly blend shirt (the 70's were not kind to young fat girls)I didn't ever wear a junior size..even when I was a young pup!

 Terri, you look so cute in your new dress! From the junior department no less! Like Deb, even as a teen I was forced by my size to wear matronly clothes. I doubt if I'll ever be able to wear a junior size, but you do it so well! Congratulations!

I hope you are seriously considering participating in the fashion show at the OH event in August!  Come on...I volunteered to do it (PM me, anyone, who wants to be in the show and I can get you in touch with the person coordinating that particular event)...and I'm happy right now looking like your "before" photos (and will be even happier in 3 months at the time of the event)!  Come on, I dare you to show me up!  Let's be glam goddesses together for an evening.  Marilyn & I are sharing a room at the hotel, so we can get gussied up privately!  Or wait...should we splurge and bring in professional hair and make-up artists (just kidding...well, kind of...I wish I could afford such a luxury)?
