Madigan Sugery Times....

My surgeon is putting in a referral to madigan to have my breasts done.  How long does it usually take to get into surgery there?

Sadly it's not a  quick process when dealing with plastics.  Sometimes it can even require a resubmit after 90 days but once you have gotten in to see one of the plastic surgeons I think the average is around 3 months or so, depending on the surgery schedule.  Plastics are most usually low on priority as far as using the OR rooms and Madigan has a tendency to be remodling the ORs which can shut about half of them down at a time.  I wish I had more info for you, but I wanted to be realistic with you in that it could take quite a while to get in.  Hang in there though, I've heard only wonderful things about the surgeons in plastics.

Well here is my story, I had my first referral put in last October, at that point I was told I would have to resubmit in 90 days due to how busy they are.  I resubmitted at the 90 day point and on the 15th of this month had my breast reduction done.  So all together 6.5 months for me. 

Oh and like Shelly said I had heard that they are starting a remodel on several of the OR's so that might slow things down.
