Late Saturday evening, Marilyn (http://www.obesityhelp.com/member/maz/) posted an update on her health.  Thank you to everyone *****plied to her post.  You made a difference!  Thank you!

I received a phone call from her this morning and she took your advice and went to the ER yesterday.  She is currently hospitalized at Good Samritan Hospital in Puyallup and has been diagnosed with pneumonia.  All things considering, she is doing relatively well and focused on resting/getting better.

I will be visiting her later this today and would like it if people would respond to this thread with get well wishes and words of encouragement.  Marilyn is a remarkable young woman who has recently renewed her commitment to leading a healthier, happier, and longer life.  She needs to know that we all support her and I will print this thread to take to her when I visit.  She wants to get better soon so that she can attend a support group meeting next week!  How fantastic is that?

~Namaste~

Marilyn, I'm not into praying for people, but I'm awfully good at sending positive vibes, so brace yourself...... they're on their way.

I wish you a speedy recovery and if you're bored or need something, I'd be happy to come visit you, too.

All the best!

P.S. in all your misery you're a lucky duck to have our Amy look out for you  :-)

Hi Marilyn,

Please rest well in the hospital so that you will be back on your feet soon, but don't rush yourself.  Your body needs time to mend properly.  Merilou has a wonderful support meeting held at her house in Auburn - the next one is at 6:30pm on the 14th of April.  Would love to see you there!  But only if you are much better and up to it of course.  Merilou has a wonderful group of very caring and supportive friendly people.  Ask Amy for the address or let me know if you want to go and I can also post you with Merilou's address.

Hang in there and get well soon!  You will be in my prayers!

Marilyn,
I had pneumonia myself pre op and I know you feel bad now,but please do everything they tell you. I resisted and whined alot and it took me longer to get well. As soon as I started following there orders I started getting better.
I will be sending you prayers and blessings let us know when your homeI am sending a hug too!
P.S.
I am so happy you have re committed to a healthy life, it takes courage and strength and we don't have to do it alone!

Thanks Amy for the update

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
