Dumb Questions!!

I feel pretty stupid asking this but I can't figure out how to post an avatar picture or any others for that matter. I would also like to add my name to the upcoming surgery dates for Washington state and don't know how....I use the computer alot so I feel dumb asking these questions.

PS I have not figured out the ticker for my weight loss either.

Have a look at my profile page, I uploaded some vidoes there - they might help.

As to the ticker:

1) Go to the tickerfactory and create your ticker.

2) Copy the actual graphic/picture, NOT the code.

3) Back in oh.com, click on "my oh"

4) On your start page, click on "Settings" (left navigation bar)

5) Click on "Message Board" (top navigation tabs)

6) Scroll down to the "Signature" box

7) Paste the graphic in that box

8) Make sure to tick the "Enable my signature" check box

 

To make changes to your ticker, go back to the ticker factory.

 

For some miraculous reason, it will update automatically on oh.com  :-)

I should probably check those videos at some time, since they were made before oh.com made some changes to their website.

Here  is how to change your avatar (which needs to be 100 x 100 pixels, max 20KB - see my profile page for a how-to video):

 

Click on "my oh" (top horizontal toolbar)

Click on "change avatar" right underneath your current profile photo (or its placeholder)

Browse to find the new photo and upload it.

For upcoming surgery dates, I'm not sure, but here is how I think it works:

 

Click on "my oh"

On your start page, click on "Settings" (left navigation bar)

Click on "Status" (top navigation tabs)

 

Fill in your surgery date and it will show up automatically on the right board.

 

Thanks so much for the help, I finally got the ticker going but every picture I try to upload it says that it is too large. Not quite sure what to try now??

Do you mean photos on your profile page or your avatar?

THANKS...I finally figured it out,  love PICNIK it is soo easy to use and easy to understand. I appreciate the work you have done on your web site for all of us to use.
You are not too far from me,  we should try to meet up some day. I know they have Dr Kuri meetings in Renton but I have not been to one yet.
