I"m doing pretty good.  Lost only 3 lbs so far, but keep in mind I had lapband not RNY.

Just don't have much of an appetite.

I think I will be starting mushies/pureed this week, will know when I meet with my NUT today.

I usually don't post here on this WA board, I post mostly over on Lapband forum.

I liked Dr. Landers.  The people at the hospital were great, with a couple mishaps at the beginning but it was all good.  LOL  Mishaps were just that Overlake mistakenly ordered another sign language interpreter which we did not need (already had one), and then the bathroom occupied sign did not work in the pre op adjoining room, which I new I locked the doors when I went to use the bathroom and another patient came in and I screamed! LOL.

I was alert from waking up in recovery room at almost noon and didn't go to sleep until almost midnight.  I had maybe like a few minutes naps in between but nothing major.  I just walked around, chatted with friends and mom.  Then listened to my mom gripe about being hungry! LOL

246 in Dec 2008 before banded 1/28/09 at 215 lbs, band crapped 9/09 at 170 lbs and struggled with it and regained to 203 revised to bypass on 8/1/11 and am very happy.

Well..it sounds like you are doing well. When my cousin had her band put in...she freaked out and started screaming at the surgeon after 2 days ....telling him to take it out. She has since adjusted to it.

Good luck!
