OMG - there's going to be an event in SEATTLE .

Two Day Event

I clicked on events & it had a list . It isn't on the month to month events calender , yet . For some reason . I am so excited . I will be there . Woo Hoo ! I hope they don't change their minds . I went to a conference in 2007 & had a great time & learned so much .  

Ok now that sounds fun!!!! I dont see any reason at this point NOT to be there, I bet a bunch of us will be attending  lol

When I went to the Irvine conference , there was something for everyone . Pre-op , post-op & further out . I'm glad it's in August . It stays darker , later . This will be great for us Northwesterners . We always get left out . People will be able to come from Canada , Oregon , & other surrounding states .

WOW!!  That's great news!  Thanks, Kathy, for bringing that to our attention.  I'll definitely put it on the calendar.  Ought to be great fun!!

I had a great time when I went to the Irvine conference , in April of 2007 . I plan on staying in Seattle during the conference . They usually have a dance on Saturday night . I could do without that . It would be fun for a bunch of us to carpool to the event & maybe do Pike place or Uwijimaya (sp) while there . Besides listening to speakers , they have vender's , who give samples , etc... There will likely be local plastic surgeons & bariatric surgeons speaking , as well .

Sounds like a great time!  I think it would be lots of fun to carpool and do some "tourist-y" things while we're there.  Make it a girls weekend!!  I agree that the dance I could do without, but am excited about this opportunity.  We'll have to make more plans as the date gets closer.

I would love to stay in Seattle, I love the touristy stuff and I would so go and boogie what is left of my butt off!!

Doesn't that sound like a blast ?  My only thing is I won't share a room . My roomate would hate me . I snore really bad . lol . So , I always get a single room . But , some people may want to share a room to cut costs . When I went to Irvine , some people had 4 people to a room .

I'm gonna have to put this on my calendar NOW so i don't book something else... I so want to go :) thanks for giving us a heads up.

I hope enough people show interest . Sometimes they cancel , if there isn't enough . I'm really excited .
