ANOTHER GROUP OF FABULOUS LOOKlNG PEOPLE!

TONlGHT l ATTENDED THE AUBURN SUPPORT GROUP HOSTED BY MERRlLOU.  l AM SO GLAD THAT l WENT BECAUSE MERRlLOU WAS QUlTE THE HOSTEST WlTH THE MOSTEST (YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE SPREAD OF "HEALTHY SNACKS" - YUMMY - AND HER HOME lS ALL DECKED OUT FOR CHRlSTMAS)!  l ALSO GOT TO MEET SOME MORE FABULOUS WA FORUM OH MEMBERS AND A NlCE GENTLEMAN WHO l DON'T THlNK USES OH!  EVEN WlTH JUST SlX OF US, THREE  PROCEDURES WERE REPRESENTED AND LENGTH OF TlME POST-OP RANGED FROM 2+ YEARS TO 3 WEEKS (ME).  AS THE HOLlDAYS ARE SO NEAR, WE ALSO HAD A HOLlDAY ORNAMENT EXCHANGE WHlCH WAS FUN!

Amy, it was a great idea to bring your camera! That was a really fun meeting, and I'm glad I got to meet you. Thank you to Merrilou for graciously hosting this meeting in her home. I had been out of town and off OH for a couple weeks struggling with non-WLS friendly people and difficult food choices. I am so happy to be home and in my comfort zone. I am going to try to get to as many support group meetings as possible. I find that most are very helpful, especially this time of year! 

Pam , If you can get to the Health Seminar in January I  you will get a lot of good information. The seminar will be at 6:30 on the 8th. at the Auburn school District Transportation building (615 15th SW in Auburn driver lounge) there won't be a Support Group Meeting on th 6th. at my house. Hope to see you on the 8th.
