iron and heart burn?

I am pre op and take iron twice daily (I was low but now normal and they just want me to stay on it). I have finally figured out, i think its giving me (or making worse) heart burn. I take it with  my fish oil (this really helps me not get constipated from the iron).
Can iron cause heart burn (even in post op non fatties)?

OT..i am in tacoma, have you seen the weather outside today...its beautiful, blue sky and sunny....I LOVE IT HERE!!!

I think you should call Dr. OH about the heart burn, It is sunny in Auburn also!!! What a nice start to December. Merrilou

Yah, it sounds like you may need a presc. to alleviate the heartburn. I'm south of you in Olympia, and looking out over the sound the sun was BLINDING reflecting off the water, but I'm not complaining!
