Day of Surgery

It's just past midnight and I am struggling to keep my eyes open.  I had a very relaxing day and my Mother arrived safely around 8:30 PM this evening.  I am pretty much all set to leave for the hospital at 5:00 AM this morning.  The only thing left to do is to try to get some sleep.

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the members of this forum who have helped make my pre-op experience both educational and fun.  I am so looking forward to being on the other side by the end of the day.  I couldn't have made it this far without your support.

As an aside, I weighed myself tonight and I’ve met my personal goal of 40 pounds lost by surgery.  I just know that VSG is going to work for me and ensure that the numbers on the scale keep going down.

Please think good thoughts for me today.  Nean  will be in contact with my Mother post-op so if you're looking for updates - check with her.
