Coming out at work...

I agree with everyone.  Just tell her you're having a medical procedure or go straight to HR.

I am starting the whoel process and anticipate my surgery to be in February.  I spoke to my boss today about it and came straight out with the surgery details.  He was very supportive.  Too bad they aren't all like that....I'm sorry.
