Olympia group - we need one
Hi there-
This is my first time posting on here, but I would definitely be interested in setting up a support group in Olympia, I'm not sure about a place but am off work by 4:00pm M-F. Thanks!

I had my first appointment with my nutritionist today. My nurse case manager at Uniform recommended her because she's in Olympia and she works with a lot of WLS patients and she has years and years of experience as a Nutrition and Eating Disorder Specialist.
Anyway, I told her that we are trying to get a support group for WLS people not affiliated with local doctor or health plan...for ANYONE, in other words. She thinks it is a fabulous idea. Then I asked her if she'd be willing to be a guest speaker at one of our meetings.
SHE IS!
Her name is Laurie Schaetzel-Hill, M.S., R.D., C.D. <-- love the alphabet soup! LOL
I think it would be fantastic to have someone like her associated with our new group, what do you all think?
