Hey there! I've had a few of my would-be donors tell me that when they try to follow the link to donate, their computers are locking up and they can't get in. I just tried it twice and it will let me get to where I can edit my webpage, but when I try to click on anything to do with donations, reports, etc., my computer locks up, too. One of my people trying to donate actually got on last night, but it kept charging her $1 and never would take her credit card for the donation, then it kicked her off completely.

Anyone else having trouble? This is bumming me out because having it happen when people are trying to make donations isn't a good thing. I'll end up losing them because of this hassle.

That's awful!! I haven't had anyone mention that problem. I haven't checked my webpage out for a few days, but I'll check it out now... I'll let you know what happens for me. Definitely we don't want the would-be donors getting locked out!! I'm not sure who we would contact about that, but I'll see what I can find on the website...

Thanks Nancy!!! I'd appreciate any help you can figure out. I have msn, so it's not like I'm on some off the wall provider (and my friends all either have msn or comcast, so they're on good ones, too). When I try to get in, the donation page comes up partial screen, so I can still see my browser page in the background, then I can see the browser page close and I have the smaller donation screen trying to open, but it never opens and eventually it closes and I'm completely off the internet at that point.

I was able to get in there OK and seemed like I could get to the donation page. I did find some info about the Tacoma walk sponsors and this lady is listed as a contact: Nora Forsell
[email protected] I emailed her the other day about a question I had and she got back to me pretty quickly. You might want to send her an email with the issues and see if she can help at all. We definitely want people to be able to donate on-line. I've had 2 people donate on line, but that was last week. I wonder if the problem is just a recent one... Good luck!

THANK YOU!!! Must be a new issue - my sister donated online on Wednesday or Thursday and had no trouble and I went in and printed the donation forms and stuff without a problem. Thanks for your help - I'll send an email right away.

I've had this problem from day one, to the point I myself can't even sign up to walk. I put in my cc info, it (bank) shows it holding a dollar but it never lets me finish, saying there is an issue with my card blah blah (yet takes my dollar, or rather holds it for several days until it drops off). I have tried through Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox both and still to this day cannot sign up to walk. It does the same to me that you are saying it's doing to your people trying to donate

I just emailed Nora that Nancy gave me the email address to. I'll post her reply in case it helps us and anyone else. Thanks for letting me know my friends and I aren't the only ones!! I figured since the link came from the email the site sent my friends/family, I couldn't have messed it up somehow!
