Waiting on Group Health
I have been approved for rny surgery since May 2008. I have finished all of my testing and evaluations but I have to wait for a surgery date because Group Health has closed down its Eastside Hospital and is now using Overlake. I have Group Health Medicare and I believe that Dr. Bock must do at least 150 bariatric surgeries so this hospital will be a center of excellence. Eastside Hospital had that certification from medicare. Now I have to wait until either December or January before I can have surgery. Is there anyone else that is waiting for surgery because of this.
