What mushies do you eat that are full of protein?  I am at a loss, besides refried beans!

Baked cottage cheese with spagetti sauce, and egg drop soup were two of my faves!

I just used all kinds of soups like lentil, split pea and veggie beef and put them thru the blender. If they were still too thick I just added beef or chicken broth to thin them down. There are tons to choose from. Also pop over to the lapband forum for lots of good advice. Also any low fat dairy products are good and can be blended also.

Mushies? Did his program change? There were NO mushies in there. Only soft food (you chew to mush). Cooked veggies, flaky fish, and...... well, at one time, your book told you some of that.

P.S.  My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

If you like andcan handle spicy food, try the buffalo chicken dip recipe in the back of the surgery handbook the doctor gave you...I love it!

I just realized you were with a different doc than me....If you didnt get the same handbook  will find mine and send it to you. Have you looked at eggfaces profile and website? She has quite a few good recipes.

I didn't worry too much about protein during the mushie stage, because I was drinking my protein shakes.
I did a lot of refried beans and egg drop soup.  I also did instant mashed potatoes, though.
