Back to work tomorrow...

I had a great time on vacation... I spent 8 days in Leavenworth... with my quilting buddies... I finished 4 quilt tops... I will be sending them to the person who will quilt them for me this week. One of the quilt tops I finished, I started 7 years ago.... it has 170 different cat fabrics in it.... I wish I could tell  you that is all the cat fabrics I own... but its not!  I even bought more last week.  So not only do I have a food addiction... I have a cat fabric addiction! Well.... it really does not stop with cat fabric... I also collect fabric with vegetables on it... and bright colored fabric...  ok... I am going to stop now... I was able to get off coffee and reduce my caffine intake in half... it will be interesting to see how I do tomorrow...since while I vacation... I did not have any caffine in the afternoon.... and caffine in the afternoon helps me get through the afternoon while at work. But since it will only be a 4 day week...that will help. Helen

I bet the cat quilt will be beautiful . Did you know that an OH gal in Oregon owns a quilting business ? I collect antique barkcloth . I love the colors & patterns . I also collect cotton printed tablecloths among many other things . But these are the two fabrics I collect . lol . Sounds like you had a great time . I love Leavenworth .

Hi Helen, glad you are home! Good job getting off of the coffee.  I am sure that took some determination.  I am sure you will be tired in the afternoons and maybe a little headachy (bring some tylenol).  I know when I gave up caffeine sometimes my thinking processes were a little slow. When you quilts are done you should take some pics and add them to your profile.  I would love to see them. Have a wonderful short week!!  I am sure looking forward to friday all ready!
