LAP DS DOC IN WASHINGTON, DO YOU KNOW ONE?

Hey Everyone, I have not been around for awhile,I got pretty frustrated and depressed with the fight to have surgery so I took a break. I finally found a surgeon in Hawaii that does LAP barriatric surgery in Hawaii,but not the DS and guess what in all of Hawaii there is not one surgeon that performs the DS, There is Dr. Cringle who comes to Hawaii from Cali,but not one that is here for follow up and besides Dr. Cringle doesn't take my insurance. So my surgeon I saw today suggested going to the Mainland for the surgery and agrees with me and is willing to advcate that I have the DS and that it is the best choice for me. I'm from Washington and would love love love to find a surgeon there that does the LAP DS. If you have or know anyone who has had a LAP DS in Washington please please please email me.

Hey there Tracy, if you look farther down on this forum you will see a DS support group post made by Laura H.  Maybe she would have an idea about a DS surgeon in the area for you.  I think there is one in Portland and probably in Seattle too. Good luck!
