Nice to meet you Deby. Sounds like you pretty much know whats going on. All you missed is your psych eval at the end of all the other appts.
I don't know what you mean by recommendations all I can tell you is to keep calling for appt openings if you have the flextime available, other than that be careful not to **** off Meg.( She's the coordinator) I've never had a problem with her but I know others who have.
Keep comming here with all your questions, and several of us go to the support group meeting on thurs evening.
Hi, Deby - Welcome to the Washington board... Glad to have you join in!! I'm not a Madigan patient so can't answer any questions about that process, but I know there are lots of gals out there who have and will continue to help you through the process. There is a lot of support and friendship here so don't hesitate to post a question, comment, concern, etc. - or to PM any of us if you want as well. Again, welcome to the Washington board and I wish you a speedy journey through all the red tape so you can get that surgery date!!

There are also 2 different support groups that meet at Madigan weekly, one is on Tuesdays at the nutrition clinic and the other is Thursday evenings from 5pm-7pm down by the cafeteria. Hope you can make it to one of them, they really do help a lot to talk to others who have been through it and it's great to celebrate each others successes as well as help those who are struggling that week.
