Yeah I feel for you and that drive.  We have to drive to Kansas in July for my son's wedding and I am soooo not looking forward to that drive.  Thankfully between hubby myself and our 17 year old daughter we have 3 drivers so we can at least switch off.  The price of gas however makes me wanna hurl, uughh. We can't wait to meet you, so when you get all settled in and feel like visiting, we will set up something so we can all meet

HEY amanda , I live in lacey which is just a 2 min drive from dupont, and we have more shopping things here so give me a ring and we can get together! be safe with that drive! i moved from n.c 3years ago and it was tuff! good luck gal!

Thanks! Oh no is the drive really that bad? I'm nervous because I have a really bad back...

I won't lie its a long drive!!  We moved here from GA 9 years ago.  You will want to pull over every few hours and walk around, maybe pack a small pillow to put behind your back.  Also make sure you bring something incase it starts to hurt.  Last thing you want to do is pay way to much for pain relief at some truck stop.

Could you lie? Please? Tell me how quickly it goes by, and how you were amazed that your butt and back didn't hurt at all? ;) You are right, I wish I could still take Motrin, but that's out since the RNY.

Oh I was amazed the drive felt like it was only a couple of hours, hardly  time for anthing to start hurting!!  You know what I like is the chewable tylenol go tabs, they seem to work pretty quickly for me.
