A: Coming to terms with the fact that I could orphan my daughter (even though she is 19). Q: Do you fear attention from the opposite sex after you've lost the majority of your weight?

Fear it no, want it YES more than ever from hubby i would have to say that i would like to snuggle more comfortably in his arms and make it easier for him to put his arms around me!  I also dont want to leave my kids 4 and 6yrs old along either!

What was the biggest challenge in deciding to have weight loss surgery?   Fear. Fear of failure, fear of giving up my best friend, fear of being stigmatised worse than being obese already caused me to be.   Do you feel you were supported emotionally by those around you?

1) I definately have the fear of losing my "best" friend... who slowing killing me by the way!!!

2) What I will do to keep the weigh off... being more active... taking up tennis or biking or maybe even kayaking.... 3)  I dont really fear attention from guys as I lose weight...  I would have if I was still single.. but I love being married (well.. most days!)

4) Since I am pre -op... I can't address the support after surgery... but I definately have support right now.  My husband is supportive... but I need to talk to him as I get closer what  food changes I will be making after surgery. My question... What influenced your decision to have the  type of WLS you picked? Helen
