My father is at peace

I just found out that my father past away this morning.  His wife, sister and the hospice nurse were all there.

I am gratefull for Sunday... and also gratefull that he did not have to suffer to long.  I am worried about his wife... she is VERY frail... needs prompted to eat.  While my brother and I are not too close to her... my half brother and his family are... so I hope she is able to be around for them (he has 4 daughters 7 to 19 years old). Thanks again for all your support!

Helen

I'm so sorry for your loss Helen, but like you I'm glad he didn't have to suffer long.  You and your family will be in my prayers, especially for his wife.

Sunday's visit is much more precious now, I'm sure...  I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that your memories of that last wonderful visit will sustain you.  As you said, he is at peace now and didn't have to suffer long.  Thinking of you...

So sorry to read of your father passing. He is around you. Just tune into your thoughts and feelings.  The gentle breeze, the kiss of the sun is his way of letting you know he's ok, and with you.  You have memories to cherish. The holidays and cetain songs and events will be hard to get thru for quite awhile. Just know that tears are the diamonds of healing, so let them flow. Than look for a rainbow.  My heart goes out to you and your family. Will say a prayer for all of you. Take care, Kathy
