Hi Julie Yes WA delivered some beautiful weather Fri and Sat.  I ventured out for only a little while over the weekend.  My car is still in CA, and I have DH's big ole monster truck...not used to driving it so much, especially not used to driving around here.  People go the speed limit here.....its weird. LOL. 

Hi and welcome to Washington!  I have been attending the Thursday evening support group meetings in Gig Harbor. They are very good. How did you learn about them? They are at 6:30pm at the Gig Harbor Borders Bookstore.   Lise'

Hi Lise' I have been (lurking) on the WA board since Dec, when I found out we'd be moving here.  After my RNY in Feb, I popped on everyonce in awhile...thats how I learned of the Gig Harbor SGM.  Its only about 10 miles from my house.  To date, I have not been to a SG.  But I want to go.  Back home ppl from OH meet the last Sat of the month at a local starbucks.  I went once as a preop, and then attempted to go in March, but had some sort of anxiety attack or something.  I walked up to the door, saw everyone, and did a 180 and left.  Hope I dont do the same thing Thursday..........!!!!

This is a real low-key group. I have been twice, and both times there were only about 6 people who attended. We talked about everything!

Cheryl, I attend the support group in Gig Harbor also.  It is as Lise said, "low key'.  Great people and lots of WL chatting.  There is a group in Port Orchard also, this Wednesday evening 6:00-8:00 on Bay Street behind Key Bank.  I only attended that group once and wasn't  real pleased.   I was told that it was not the typical group as it was a fill night.  I have been considering trying it again.
