Waiting

Time seems to be moving soooo slow, I'm on count down and I meet wth the anest. and have my labs done agin next Friday. then the 11th is my day.  I'm just going nuts waiting. I wish they would call and tell me they moved me up. I'm am so ready, and you all are great inspirations, as I see the great progress you all are making that have recently had your surgery.  I will be in need of an angel if any one wants to volunteer I would appreciate it.   Thanks

Hang in there, Cindy!!!  You are so close to your date - it really will be here before you know it!  I know the wait has been a long one for you and you've had lots of hoops to jump through - look at all you've gone through already...two more weeks will seem like a breeze after all the other stuff.  And you never know, maybe they'll call you to come in sooner!!   And look at the pounds you've already lost - you've got a good headstart.  Take care and keep in touch!

I am so there with you.  My LAP BAND surgery is two weeks from today, 04-08-08 and I feel like I am going out of my mind, too, but we will survive. That is one of the reasons I started looking at the site tonight wondering if I was alone and I see I am not but I didn't expect ot be either.  I have a wonderful support system but since none of them have gone thru this they truly don't know. I bought a bunch of jello and broth tonight. I start the clear liquid phase on Saturday so just know we will be going thru this at about the same time and there are a lot more out there, too.  Hang in there and we will make it thru this phase, that is what it is just a phase to a goal!!!!!! I am so sorry it is not going by faster! I am the most impatient person, and hate waiting myself. I would totally love to be your angel, but my hubby is currently deployed, and I have 4 little munchkins to look after! I am sure that you will have no problem getting those angel shoes filled. There are so many good people on this forum it is crazy. Anytime you need to vent you know we are all here for ya!       Amy

Thanks Amy and Annie for the offer but I completely understand, all I can say is I'm soooo glad mine are grown up, I don't have to worry near as much about them.

How are you doing????  I would love for you to be my angel, I was gonna ask you to, I but wasn't sure how you were gonna be feeling.  We need to make a plan one day, this summer to get together. I waould say in May but I have to go to Ca. and not sure how I will be feeling, I will stay in touch so that we can make plans.  you take care of yourself and let me know how you are. Hugs,
