My Surprise Phone Call

Hello Everyone! How's everyone today? Yesterday as I was going through the drive thru at McDonalds I got a phone call on my cell phone. It was the hospital asking me if I as still interested in the stomach surgery. I said yes. So the lady made me an appointment for March 20th to come and see the doctor. Then she made an appointment for a seminar in April.  I was only on the waiting list for two months and thought that was so fast that they called me back for some apppointments.  So I just wanted to share with you all- Thanks for reading. Wow - now that's definitely a sign when you're at the McDonald's drive-thru and get the phone call for the weight loss surgery!    Good luck on your journey!

Yes, it's is a sure sign when I was at McDonalds. My first thought was "Well, this is my last double cheeseburger...I better enjoy it while I can!" Thank you everyone for wishing me good luck...Maybe this is the year I can lose some weight. Kathleen

Kathleen~ Yay!  You're on your way! When I started my journey, I thought I'd never get to my surgery day...but now it's past and I'm on the loser's bench!! It will happen...and now you have your starting point! Congrats! ~Annie

Congratulations Kathleen . Who will your surgeon be ? How exciting !  That may be your last double cheeseburger , but you'll be surprised what good stuff you can eat . lol . Occasionally I eat a cheese burger , when I take the kids to MD . I'll get the small one & I take off 1/2 the bun & use the other 1/2 as a holder . lol . It'll definatly be cheaper . lol .
