Post Op SUPPORT Groups

Thank you very much Laura, Jillian & Nancy for the information about VitaLady. I will most definitely check out her website. Woodland is fairly close to where I live. I have one more day of antibiotics to take for pneumonia. Then I hope to be able to start going for some walks. Basically I find myself home everyday, The only exercise I get is when I go upstairs. So it's not very much. Thanks again for the information. Marilyn

HI!    I'm Susan, an Obesity Help Support Group Leader, and will be starting a new Support Group in the Tacoma/Puyallup area on March 17th from 5:30-7:30.  The meetings will be at the Summit Branch of the Pierce County Library every 3rd Monday of the month. That location is 1 block west of Canyon Road on 112th Street. I'd love it if you could join us. You said you don't drive - do you take the bus, or have other transportation?   I'll be posting more notices about the "Thru Thick N' Thin" WLS support group as the date gets nearer! Susan

Marilyn, I host a support group in Auburn. Our next meeting is March 11th. at 6:30 PM Give me a call and maybe we can figure a way to get you here! Merrilou  253 939 8865 we are going to exchange good recieps and also clothing from our last meeting.

Yay, maybe I can make your support group THIS time Merrilou! I NEED CLOTHES, and I need to get rid of 4 garbage bags filled with clothes.lol.

Thank you all for your warm welcomes to the Washington State message boards. It really does feel good to know there's others out there who have some idea of what I'm going through. That can relate through experience & not just from a guess or trying to imagine. I truly look forward to meeting some of you at the nearby support groups.
