Yea Shelley, I am sooo happy for you. your rebirth is almost here. and if you are like a lady in my support group her surgeon had a cancellation, and had her surgery 3 days after she met with him.

Yeah it does happen here sometimes too.  Fran and I met a guy who had his surgery the first part of November, he was supposed to have it the day after Thanksgiving but they called and asked if he wanted it early and of course he said yes.  I would be fine with that, really all I have left to do is last bloodwork and an ekg (has to be not more than a week out of my surgery date) and some paperwork.  But I do know my surgeron is trying to escape for a few days to go up to BC, which I can totally understand.  At this point I am just praying for his safe, and fun, trip and that neither of us have any illness come surgery time

Arrgh Shelly now I have something new to worry about. LOL Nothing better happin I have already submitted for the time off from work My shifts are already covered, sick/vacation time being used. Yikes I never thought about the dr being sick.. I didn't think that was allowed. He better not be sick or if he is Rush better be willing to cover.

Yeah I think if they were sick I would think someone would cover, so dont stress hun, it will all be fine, you are almost there 

Hi Shelley, New to this board, but I wanted to congratulate you on surgery date. I had my surgery on 12/5 07 and feel so good. I noticed that you are from South Hill/ Puyallup, thats where I'm from to. Maybe we could get  together sometime and talk. I would love to as well.  Nancy is in Tacoma and she already knows I want to meet her as well.  So for sure we need to figure out a time that everyone can make it, like work schedules and such and get together.  I think it would awesome!!e
