Has anyone used Dr. Alverez in Mexico? Also....
This spring Im heading to Mexico for a lap band, and am still researching the Doctors down there... can anyone tell me if they have used Dr. Alverez? if so did you like him, or not? pros/cons please.
Also I take medication for diabetes...will be go on the two week clear liquid diet, if so, this is going to really affect me alot as if I dont eat regularly I get very sick...

Hi, Kathy - Check out the user jtaynton. She lives in Vancouver, WA and had surgery the end of November in Mexico. She used Dr. Salvador Valencia in Ensenada/Tijuana. She seems extremely happy with him and his reputation. Read her blog as she mentions her experience there. Some dr's require a 2 week liquid diet pre-op and others don't. Mine did...
