Attny??? Off topic sorry

I was wondering of any of you in the Seattle area knew of a good medical malpractice attny?? Or how one goes about finding one?? As some of you are aware my brother was in the care of a hospital up there and recived the worst care I can think of. Bye the time we got him transfered over to Harbor View he was in septic shock, respritory faliure, and renal failure, mind you the Dr at the other hosp wanted to discharge him the day before under the premise that he was hydrated and could go home. He was admitted for hydration... I am not someone who sues people, never have before, but I truly belive that he was treated so poorly because he's Poor, Disabled and Mentally ill, and i wan't to make sure that others are never treated that way again.. any advise would be apprecitaed.

Sorry I don't know of a good attorney, but I sure hope your brother is doing much better, Harborview is a godsend, my brother was in a nasty truck accident, with head trauma and several broken bones, even though Harborview is very busy they took great care with him, he is now home and finally out of a wheel chair,  I hope you get answers from the previous hospital, evan an appology is better than nothing.

Jillian - I'm so sorry to hear about your brother...  He's lucky he has you as an advocate.  Too often the poor, disabled and mentally ill are not treated the same, which is just awful!  Unfortunately, I don't know any attorneys, but did want to let you know others care.  Your brother and you will be in my prayers... ~Nancy~

Hi Jillian. I will try to get you the name of a good medical malpractice attorney. My fiance is an attorney in Edmonds, and just left her old firm in Downtown Seattle. She doesn't handle that type of work, but I bet she knows of somebody good in the area that handles cases like that. She is out to lunch right now, but I will ask her when she gets home.

Hi Jillian, I talked to my fiance (Sandy) and she told me John Stocks handles medical malpractice. http://www.vansiclen.com/att_js.htm He is a really nice guy and a good lawyer. I actually met him at a Mariner's game, and Sandy almost went to work at his firm, but chose Edmonds over Auburn.
